One Jazz player who is sure to attract various suitors is 2020-21 Sixth Man of the Year Jordan Clarkson. Fadeaway World’s Fran Leiva believes the Knicks might be able to pry Clarkson away from Utah for a package of Mitchell Robinson and two second-rounders.
“Jordan Clarkson … is still a microwave scorer who can light it up in a hurry, whether as a starter or off the bench,” Leiva said on Tuesday.
“Utah’s looking to prioritize its younger pieces and future picks, and moving Clarkson would align perfectly with that plan.”
“For the Knicks, adding Clarkson would be a no-brainer. Their bench has struggled to provide consistent offense outside of Deuce McBride. Clarkson instantly solves that problem. … His ability to handle the ball also takes some pressure off the starters, giving the Knicks more options late in games when rotations tighten up.”
